Cape Town - Channing Tatum has left his Australian fans devastated by revealing he won’t be performing in the show Magic Mike Live when it hits Oz shores next year.
And the reason? Because he's got a “dad bod”.
Yup, you read that right. The 39-year-old reckons he no longer has the smokin’ hot ripped body he had while starring in the hit dance movies.
“[I've got a] dad bod, man! I got a kid now, this is what it is,” he said during an appearance on Sunrise with Magic Mike's choreographer, Alison Faulk.
The actor of course shares a daughter, Everly (6), with fellow dancer and ex-wife Jenna Dewan (39).
“I can't have a full-time job of being in the gym anymore!” he added, referring to the rigorous regime required to have a Magic Mike Live performer body.
“It is a full-time job. It isn't just working out, it is diet, it's everything. It is a lifestyle.
“What you see in Magic Mike [the film] is me holding it together for two weeks. As soon as they cut in the last scene, I’m like, ‘Where are the cheeseburgers?’”
We reckon his idea of a “dad bod” is far from the real thing if a recent pic of him in the shower is anything to go by.
He recently shared the sizzling hot snap after losing a bet with his girlfriend, British singer Jessie J, leaving fans drooling in the process.
