Cape Town - During a video interview with Vanity Fair, 17-year old Billie Eilish dished on her love life – or lack thereof.
"I don’t have a boyfriend. For the first time in my life I don’t feel the need to be with anyone," Billie said. "For the first time I don’t have my eyes on anyone."
The youngster admits that she’s in a healthier mental space than she’s been for a long time, reports Daily Mail.
"The most important thing would be maintaining my happiness, which I’m experiencing for the first time in many years lately."
The hitmaker used to dislike the spotlight created by her fame but claims she’s tired of complaining because she’s realised she’s "very lucky".
Her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? has garnered great success and she recently won best new artist at this year’s American Music Awards (AMAs).
The Ocean Eyes singer made her debut appearance at the AMAs where she performed her single All The Good Girls Go To Hell.
The young artist was also nominated for six Grammys this year and, according to People, admitted that she’d never imagined herself becoming as successful as she is now.
This year has seen Eilish reach new heights and she’ll be named 2019 Woman of the Year at Billboard’s Women in Music event on 12 December.
The star’s brother and collaborator, Finneas O'Connell, hinted that her second album will take an "experimental" direction, reports New Musical Express.
