Ryan Gosling watching his younger self dance is the best thing you'll see today

Cape Town – Ryan Gosling shows off his impressive dance skills in the hit musical La La Land. 

But like most Hollywood stars the actor started perfecting his craft since childhood.

In his younger days Ryan was the only male member of the Elite Dance Studio troupe of hoofers. The troupe made it to the finals of a Canadian talent competition show and performed a routine to Cathy Dennis, Touch Me. 

During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show with co-star Emma Stone Ryan watched some footage of his younger self dancing and his reaction is priceless. 

Kitted out in a silver hammer pants and a sparkly purple shirt Ryan busted out the moves.
