Trevor Noah: I’ve been stopped by the cops at least 8 to 10 times

Cape Town – South African comedian Trevor Noah has been living in America for 6 years on-and-off, but it hasn’t been all glamorous parties and million dollar apartment buys

The Daily Show host gave the audience insight into his experiences living in America, as a black man, saying: "I lived on the west coast for two and a half years; I've lived on the east coast now for two and a half years. In that time, I shit you not, I have been stopped by police maybe, I would say, going on at least 8 to 10 times."

In the video clip the star explains what he does when the cops stop him and mentions that he has been stopped in a variety of cars both his own and rental cars when he has been pulled over. At the end of the clip Trevor also says that he'll keep talking about racism and the police, because of an isiXhosa saying that his mother taught him keeps him going.

Trevor starts the above dialogue by referring to the case of Philando Castile Verdict.

Here’s more of what Trevor thought of that verdict and more information on it:
