SA comics launch nationwide tour

Johannesburg – It was announced on Tuesday that a group of local comics would be teaming up for a nationwide tour titled, Trending Comics. 

The tour is a spin-off of the Johannesburg International Comedy Festival and will see the local funny guys taking on trending topics in live stand-up shows as they tour Mzansi.

In its South African debut, Trending Comics will feature a stellar line-up of our very own comedic talent including Schalk Bezuidenhout, Robby Collins, Loyiso Madinga and Neil Green.

The nationwide tour that will touch down in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg will kick off at the end of October. 

As if that wasn’t enough firepower comedy in one ensemble, there will be different heavyweight comedians to host the shows in each city. Those hosts include Kurt Schoonraad (Cape Town), Carvin Goldstone (Durban), and Donovan Goliath (Johannesburg).
