DRUMBeat to rock Joburg with 15 acts

Johannesburg - It's less than a week to go to the party of the year.

This Saturday 26 August #ToyotaLive DRUMBeat is going to rock Joburg with 15 acts: AKA, Amanda Black, Mafikizolo, Sands, Okmalumkoolkat, Shimza, Lady Zamar, The Rhythm Sessions, The Muffinz, Soul Kulture, Shekhinah, A-Reece, Rebirth of Cool, Tumelo Moloto and DJ Chase.

In addition, concert goers can look forward to a comedy stage with seven acts, headlined by Kedibone Mulaudzi. With 10 years of comedy experience, Kedibone is in constant demand as both a headline act and MC across the national comedy circuit. On top of that he's formed part of a comedy lineup that included Chris Rock, cementing his reputation as one of South Africa's number one comedy talents.  The 2015 Comics' Choice Award winner and a seasoned actress, Khanyisa Bunu is currently taking the world of TV and entertainment by storm. Khanyisa has performed alongside the likes of Tall A$$ Mo, Tumi Morake, Celeste Ntuli, and Loyiso Gola to name a few.

Two MC's will grace the various stages: One of DRUM's very own, journalist Molife Kumona, as well as voice actor and MTV Base NewsISH presenter Farieda 'Pharoahfi' Metsileng.

So get ready to laugh, dance and jive at Carnival City Lawns & Sun Park, where the event is being held this year. Gates open at 12:00 and those looking to line their stomach for the night's outstanding entertainment can enjoy a variety of food stalls.

The event is supported by media partners Kaya FM and MTV Base
