Cape Town - DJ Black Coffee allegedly smacked local rapper, AKA's road manager at the DStv iRock Music Festival in Limpopo on Saturday.

No weekend would ever be complete without an AKA Twitter rant.

According to AKA, while his band was doing sound checks, Black Coffee walked on stage, cut their music and plugged in his equipment.

"The media likes to portray me as an aggressive person ..... Please explain to me what part of Black Coffee smacking my road manager is ok?" he wrote on Twitter.

AKA made the decision not to perform at the music festival and apologised to his fans. "Nah. Im in a good place. I decided leaving was the best thing to do," he wrote.
