Bobby van Jaarsveld lives two days as a blind man in new TV show experiment

Cape Town – In case you missed it Afrikaans popstars Bobby and Karlien van Jaarsveld have a reality series, In Jou Skoene on VIA (DStv 174).

In the series the siblings leave their lives behind to spend 48 hours in someone else's shoes. 

On this week's episode Bobby will spend two days in Vernon Barnard's shoes. 

We first met Vernon on The Voice SA where he wowed the coaches with his singing. 

Vernon was born with glaucoma, a degenerative eye disease that leads to blindness, and at the age of six he lost his vision. (Read more here)

Bobby had a connection with him and selected him for his team.
