Johannesburg - Internet TV provides at least six brilliantly bingeable reality shows for this long, lazy weekend. And they’re not all your typical fluff, either.

Married to Medicine

(Season 1)

These Atlanta women spend their lives helping others - whether they’re supporting their doctor husbands, or working as doctors themselves. Tune in for a massive dose of delicious drama, including reunion and “revealed” episodes. It’s just what the doctor ordered to keep you entertained over a long weekend.

Dineo’s Diary

(Season 1)

Radio and TV presenter Dineo Ranaka pursues her dream of becoming a media mogul in the first season of her hit reality show. She’s got other things on the boil at the moment (including a cooking vlog - yes, really - and co-hosting The Front Row) but this is where her reality-show journey began. Binge on the first season ahead of the launch of seasons 2-5 of Dineo’s Diary, coming to Showmax soon!

Keeping Up with the Kardashians

(Season 1 to 11)

From the genesis of this family’s fame, to a series of weddings, 21st birthday bashes, stints in rehab, divorces, gender transitions and awkward family gatherings - you can watch all 11 seasons back to back on Showmax, if you can handle it.

David Brent: Life on the Road

He’s hands-down the worst boss in the world, and now he hits the road as the most pathetically sad and disproportionately arrogant pop singer you’ll ever be unfortunate enough to see. If you loved the mockumentary The Office, and couldn’t get enough of Brent’s Free Love Freeway, this spin-off mockumentary/satirical reality show is for you.

Available on Netflix.

Chef’s Table

A colourful culinary journey into the minds and kitchens of six of the world’s most cutting-edge renowned chefs. Find out what makes them tick and salivate over the incredible gastronomic discoveries they make and the maverick meals they create day after day. This is every other cooking reality show on steroids.

American Playboy

More documentary than reality series, this 10-part show reveals the man behind the Playboy bunny, Hugh Hefner (himself one of the best-known TV reality stars - remember that dubious Girls Next Door series?). Told from his own perspective and using never-before-seen footage from the family archives, this show does an excellent job of tracing his journey and explaining how Hef became the mogul he is today.
