Los Angeles - Adele invited an impersonator on stage at her concert in Washington on Tuesday night.
The Hello hitmaker had lookalike Kris Zello brought up to her during her concert at Seattle's KeyArena and she told him how much she liked his outfit in a dress which looked almost identical to the blonde beauty's.
She told him: "You look amazing. I actually really like your dress!"
Kris later told Seattle's Q13 radio station about the surreal experience.
He said: "I wanted her to know that her music not only is amazing but it touches people in more ways than she probably even knows, and I didn't want to miss my opportunity to tell her that she really helped me to become the person I am today."
