The South African music industry is in an awesome place at the moment where you can't tell your local acts from your international acts anymore, and sometimes even prefer the local talent to the American and European exports.

1. Goodluck - Bounce Me Brother

2. Gangs of Ballet - Daydream

3. Andrew James - Port Grosvenor
A folksinger that teams up with a drummer to produce americana sounds like something out of an Indie movie. James' soft vocals seem to put you in a hypnotic trance and on their first album, released in 2011, they collaborated with producer Aron-Turest Swartz from Freshly Ground to put their thoughtful tunes onto Red in Tooth and Claw. --->http://www.andrewjames.co.za/
4. Shortstraw - Good Morning, Sunshine
