Kevin Hart dethrones Seinfeld as the highest paid comedian

New York — Kevin Hart is literally laughing all the way to the bank. The funnyman tops the Forbes magazine list of the highest-paid comedians with earnings of $87.5m.

Hart, who had roles in the films Central Intelligence and Secret Life of Pets as well as his lucrative What Now? comedy tour, dethrones longtime earnings leader Jerry Seinfeld, who made $43.5m.

The magazine compiled the estimated income from June 2015 to June 2016.

Here’s the top 10 list:

1. Kevin Hart - $87.5m
2. Jerry Seinfield - $43.5m
3. Terry Fator - $21m
4. Amy Schumer - $17m
5. Jeff Dunham - $13.5m
6. Dave Chapelle - $13m
7. Jim Gaffigan - $12.5m
8. Gabriel Iglesias - $9.5m
9. Russell Peters - $9m
10. John Bishop - $7m
