Johannesburg - City Press has put together a list of movies to catch in cinemas this week.
This includes numerous films to watch at the International Sci-Fi Film Festival running from 3 to 7 March.
Here are 4 films to catch on circuit this week:
1. Fences
This Oscar-nominated film about a black working class family in the 50s is uneven in its delivery, but features powerful performances by Viola Davis and Denzel Washington – Rhodé Marshall
2. Moonlight
This film of two black, gay lovers is a story of staggering beauty – a collection of character studies that gets under the skin of manhood – Charl Blignaut
3. Live by Night
A disappointing effort by director and lead Ben Affleck. This dreary crime story drags on without much payoff – Gayle Edmunds
