PICS: Miles Teller proposes to girlfriend Keleigh Sperry while on safari in South Africa

Cape Town – Miles Teller and his girlfriend, Keleigh Sperry are officially engaged.

According to Sperry’s sister, the Whiplash actor popped the question while on safari in South Africa.

Alongside photos of the couple posing with elephants at a watering hole in the background, Christie Sperry York wrote: "These two got engaged while on an African Safari over the weekend!! Can't believe the last Sperry girl is engaged! Love both of you guys to pieces and so incredibly happy for this new chapter in your love story! Now come home so we can celebrate."

Keleigh also took to her Instagram account to share snaps of their safari adventure, but made no mention of her engagement.

The couple – who have been dating since 2013 - went on safari while visiting Madikwe Game Reserve, located in the North West Province, bordering Botswana.

Teller and Sperry spent time vacationing in the Seychelles before arriving in SA. A source confirmed to Channel24 that the Divergent actor is in the country for re-shoots of his upcoming film, Thank You For Your Service.

Starring alongside Teller in the film is Haley Bennett, who is also in SA. The 29-year-old has been in the country for weeks, filming Red Sea Diving Resort with Chris Evans.
