PIC: Madonna's throwback pic of her kids made us feel a little sorry for her

Los angeles - Madonna misses more "innocent" times with her children.

The 57-year-old singer - who is preparing for a custody battle to get her 15-year-old son Rocco to return to her in the US - posted a throwback photo of herself with her arms around the teenager, alongside his older sister Lourdes, 19, and younger brother David, 10, during a trip to Malawai some years ago.

Sharing the picture on Instagram, Madonna - who also has another daughter, 10-year-old Mercy - added heart and prayer emojis and a caption which read: "Days of innocence. In Malawi. How I miss this time."

Meanwhile, Rocco showed off a new look as he walked through London with his father Guy Ritchie on Thursday.

The teenager has had his long blonde locks completely shaved off and appeared pleased with his new image as he and the filmmaker spent time together.

It was previously claimed that Rocco - and his 47-year-old father - feel he has a more stable and loving home life in the UK with Guy, his wife Jacqui Ainsley and their three children, Rafael, four, Rivka, three, and Levi, 19 months.

The teenager thinks his Like a Virgin singer mother is "too controlling" and doesn't pay him any real attention.

And Guy thinks Madonna's "stern" parenting is "counterproductive' for their son's confidence.

An insider said: "He wants Rocco to have the confidence he lacked growing up and thinks Madonna's stern parental style is counterproductive. The welfare of Rocco is Guy's priority."

Rocco left Madonna's Rebel Heart tour in December to be with his father and stepmother in London, and defied a court order to spend Christmas in New York with his mother.

A hearing in the matter is scheduled for 2 March.
