Kristen Bell remembers the time Dax Shepard dumped her for another girl

Cape Town – While we are all still recovering from the shock of Anna Faris and Chris Pratt’s separation announcement, Kristen Bell shared a funny story about her relationship.

The 37-year-old is married to fellow actor Dax Shepard. The couple have two daughters and have been happily married since same-sex marriage was legalised in California in 2013.

#tbt to when I cried at our wedding and @daxshepard thought it was really funny.

However, in an interview with Popsugar, Kristen revealed that before her and Dax tied the knot he dumped her to see other people.

It was 10 years ago and Kristen and Dax had been dating for only three months, “I already knew that I was in love with him and he was hesitant because he knew he was still dating other people.”

After being sat down and broken up with, Kristen admits she was in tears but still respected the Chips actor for at least telling her they weren’t on the same page.

It’s pretty obvious that Kristen’s story has a happy ending; they are now one of Hollywood’s biggest #CoupleGoals but the Veronica Mars actress emphasised that it’s not always easy.

She said: “It still takes a lot of work, but we are choosing to be this happy because the other choice is, what, choosing to be unhappy? No thanks.”

Well, that restores out faith in love...

I met the hottest guy on the slopes today, and promptly made out with him. @daxshepard #mammoth
